Several months ago, I reached out to share my idea for a small, local business that would serve Crosswicks and the greater Chesterfield area. The overwhelmingly positive response confirmed what I had hoped: our community is ready for a space that brings us together - a shop offering artisanal coffee, pastries, ice cream, locally crafted products, gifts, and a few essential everyday items.

 

Your feedback, ideas, and enthusiasm have been invaluable, and I’m excited to announce that we’ve taken a major step forward! On Halloween, the contract to purchase the lot and historic Blacksmith’s Shop at the corner of Ellisdale and Crosswicks-Chesterfield Roads was signed. Now, the next step is for Township approval of the subdivision and improvement plans.

 

The vision for this space includes preserving its historic charm while making thoughtful modifications, like adding a cozy patio where you can unwind and enjoy the best of every season. We’re also planning a convenient parking lot to make access as easy as possible.

 

Thank you once again for your support, encouragement, and great ideas. I’ll update you as we reach new milestones as we get closer to opening in Spring 2025.
